Installing an OS on a Dedicated HP Gen9 Server with iLO4

With your preferred browser, connect to the ILO IP you received in the order confirmation email and log in with provided username/password. Click on "HTML5" under "Integrated Remote Console" for an enhanced experience!
A new window will open
To mount an ISO file from your local storage, click on the virtual media (CD/DVD symbol), select CD/DVD and Local *.iso file
a local browser window will open where you can select an ISO file. Click "Open" to mount the ISO file.
If you just mounted the ISO into a running OS, you will see the CD/DVD in your file browser.

If you are installing a newly provided server, please follow the following steps:
Click on the menu symbol and, select "Power" and "Momentary Press" if the server is powered off, otherwise you can select "Reset".
Confirm by clicking "OK"
Wait for preboot and press "F11" for boot menu
Select  "1)" in the boot menu to start booting from the CD/DVD
The boot process will now begin. Since the speed of booting depends on your local internet upload speed, this process may take some time.
We recommend booting from a Netinstall CD/DVD image since these are much smaller and are being transferred much faster.

note: Disconnecting from ILO unmounts the mounted ISO.
